Printed material for which there are copies in other collections have been weeded. Photographs are cataloged and housed separately.

James Vernon Parcher Papers

Scope and Contents Collection contains books, a copy of Parcher's dissertation, and his class notes from Karl Terzaghi's (considered the father of soil mechanics) course in Engineering Geology offered at Harvard, and Parcher's notes from an Engineering 264 class (soil testing) also offered at Harvard.
